Pinky Red Lips

Red lipstick has been seen on numerous runways this season and is the color to wear right now.  What's more right now?  Pinky reds.  Here's how I tried the trend:





Brushes you'll need:

- MAC #'s 214 (short shader brush), 217 (blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), Small Angle Brush (263), and 116 (blush brush)


Products you'll need:


- MAC Eyeshadows in Vanilla, Dazzlelight, Malt, Soft Brown, Texture, and Charcoal Brown
- MAC Paintpot in Soft Ochre
- MAC Powder Blushes in Peaches and Blunt
- MAC Lipsticks in Crosswires and Dubonnet
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

- MAC Technakohl Liner in Graphblack

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...


[* Cover the entire lid from below the brow to the lash line with Soft Ochre using your finger.
[* Apply Vanilla to hightlight the area underneath the brow bone (217).
[* Pack on Dazzlelight libereally to the eyelid underneath the crease (242).
[* Apply Malt between the highlight and lid colors (222).
[* Darken the crease slightly with Soft Brown (222).
[* Create more depth with Texture in the crease and especially in the outer V (242).

[* Line the upper lash line with Blacktrack (263).




Cheeks...


[
* Apply Blunt below and around the cheekbones and Peaches on the apples of the cheeks (116).

Lips

[
* Apply Crosswires to the lips and lightly dab Dubonnet over top.  Blot lips together to mix.

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadows in Charcoal Brown and Espresso], [Tame unruly brows using MAC Brow Finisher in Clear], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
