An Unlikely Combo -- Cranberry and Satin Taupe

This look was created to complement a top I was wearing in a deep mauve/plum hue. I definitely wanted to do a shadow with MAC Cranberry, but was torn between pairing it with a dark brown or something unexpected. That 'something unexpected' turned out to be Satin Taupe and the result -- a grayed velvety plum.

Cheeks...

[*
Using MAC's #116 Blush brush, apply Strada on the cheeks in a 'C' shape from cheek bones to the hollow of the cheek. Dip the brush lightly into Flirt 'n Tease pat on the apple of the cheek to incorporate the berry hues.

Lips...

[*
Add color to the lips with Delish first, then layer over with Hug Me. The effect will give Hug Me more color while toning down the shimmer of Delish.

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadow in Espresso], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
