Lavender Lip

Awaiting usage in my "purchased, but don't have the guts to try it yet" stash, I finally decided to create a soft spring-inspired look using Cremesheen Lipstick Lavender Whip and its lilac-hued partner in crime, Ever So Rich Cremesheen Glass.

Brushes you'll need:
- MAC #'s 217 (blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 266 (small angle brush), and 116 (blush brush)

Products you'll need:

- MAC Eyeshadows in Blanc Type, Vex, Tilt, Beautiful Iris, Nocturnelle, Smut
- MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
- MAC Powderblushes in Shimmersweet and Flirt 'n Tease
- MAC Lipsticks in Creme d'Nude and Lavender Whip
- MAC Cremesheen Glass in Ever So Rich
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrak

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...

[*
Apply MAC Paintpot in Painterly all over eyelids as a base using your fingers.
[*
Highlight the brow bone first with Blanc Type using the 217.
[*
Shade in the inner half of your eyelid with Tilt (217).
[*
Shade in the outer half with Beautiful Iris (217).
[*
Blanc Type with the upper eyeshadow seam of Tilt and Beautiful Iris -- try to get rid of the "T" you see between the three different colors using Vex (217).
[* Darken the outer V with Nocturnelle (217).
[*
Add just a touch of Smut to the outermost part of the eyelid (217).
[*
Line the upper lash line with Blacktrak (266).
[*
Line the inner lower lash line with Beautiful Iris (242).
[*
Line the outer lower lash line with Nocturnelle (242).

Cheeks...

[*
Using MAC's #116 Blush brush, apply Shimmersweet to the apples of the cheeks. Dip the brush lightly into Flirt 'n Tease and dust some on the part of the cheekbone that sticks out the most.

Lips...

[*
Nude out the lips using Creme d'Nude first, then add a lilac-tinted shine using Ever So Rich. Layer a third time using Lavender Whip.

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadow in Espresso], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
