Cranberried Lilac

Star Violet isn't such an easy shadow to pair colors with.  I've made a recent commitment to use colors I don't usually use, so I decided to brush the dust off and go for it.  Here's what I came up with:

Brushes you'll need:

- MAC #'s 214 (short shader brush), 217 (blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), Small Angle Brush (263), and 116 (blush brush)

Products you'll need:

- MAC Eyeshadows in Ricepaper, Beautiful Iris, Sketch, and Star Violet
- MAC Paintpot in Soft Ochre
- MAC Powder Blush in Flirt 'N Tease
- MAC Lipstick in Hug Me
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...

[* Cover the entire lid from below the brow to the lash line with Soft Ochre using your finger.
[* Apply Ricepaper to hightlight the area underneath the brow bone (217).
[* Apply Beautiful Iris to the inner third of the lid, tear duct, and as the lower lash liner (242).
[* Apply Star Violet to the outer V, crease, and at the outermost corner of the lower lash line (242).
[* Darken the outer V with Sketch (222).
[* Adding more of the highlighting mixture onto your brush, blend them & the colors at the crease together (217).
[* Line the upper lash line with Blacktrack (263).

Cheeks...

[
* Apply Pinch O' Peach to the apples of the cheeks (116).

Lips

[
* Continue the berry-themed shades with Hug Me

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadows in Charcoal Brown and Espresso], [Tame unruly brows using MAC Brow Finisher in Clear], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
