Red Carpet Looks: a la SJP!

In envy and tribute to SJP's recent red carpet look, I've decided to do a reinterpretation.  The result was stunning, in my opinion, and the perfect balance of color for a flashy dress or toned down casual outfit!  This is definitely one of my favorite looks and I will definitely have to recreate this soon:

Brushes you'll need:

- MAC #'s 214 (short shader brush), 217 (blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), Small Angle Brush (263), and 116 (blush brush)

Products you'll need:

- MAC Eyeshadows in Dazzlelight, Ricepaper, Copperplate, Star Violet, Satin Taupe, Smut, Satellite Dreams, and Vex
- MAC Paintpot in Soft Ochre
- MAC Powder Blushes in Tenderling and Dame
- MAC Lipsticks in Hug Me and Crosswires
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...

[* Cover the entire lid from below the brow to the lash line with Soft Ochre using your finger.
[* Apply a mixture of Dazzlelight and Ricepaper to hightlight the area underneath the brow bone (217).
[* Apply Copperplate to the entire lid and outer two thirds of the crease (242).
[* Apply Star Violet to the crease and later over top with Satin Taupe (222).
[* Create a depth and smokiness with Smut on the outer third of the lid (222).

[* Reinforce the violet tone with Satellite Dreams in the middle of the lid and as a lower lash liner (242).
[* Adding more of the highlighting mixture onto your brush, blend them & the colors at the crease together (217).

[* Make your lid sparkle even more by placing Vex to the middle of the lid where you feel your eyeball (242).
[* Line the upper lash line with Blacktrack (263).

[
* Apply Tenderling the to the cheek and concentrate the pink color with Dame only on the apples of the cheeks (116).
