Fave Five: MAC Lipsticks

A girl can never have too many shades of lipstick whether it be a demure pink or an eye-catching red. While the eyes may be the window to the soul, you always pay attention to a moving mouth. Here are my favorite five:

- Hug Me
[* a soft pinky nude and my go-to color for almost any look
[* use when you want a muted lip, but still want your lips to get noticed

- Dubonnet
[* a deep, dark red which can be blotted for a stained look or applied with a lip brush for the ultimate "red lip"
[* definitely pair with a conservative eye using shadows slightly darker than your skin tone, taupe blush, and defined brows and eyes

- See Sheer
[* the perfect shade of coral -- the right dosage of pink and orange
[* wear with coordinating shadows or alone for a minimal sun-kissed face (bronzer, mascara, and blush)

- Capricious
[* a chic plum for work or play, this color doesn't sit in the back row yet still channels your inner sophisticate
[* wear with grey or taupe shadows

- Crosswires
[* the only pink you'll ever need -- tone it down by blotting or wear alone for a playful look
[* wear with black liner to complete the look, pair with a orange-toned gloss to transform it into coral, blend with reds to make them "berried," or mix with nudes for pink-tinged lips
