I know that purple has been dominating my look posts lately, but I just can't help it. The possibilities are endless and there is a shade of purple that looks good on everyone. This is a sort of shimmery smoky look for you.
Brushes you'll need:
- MAC #'s 217 (blending brush), 214 (short shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 266 (small angle brush), 228 (mini shader brush), and 116 (blush brush)
Products you'll need:
- MAC Eyeshadows in Vex, Electra, Silver Ring, Nocturnelle, Satellite Dreams, Sketch, Smut, Plum Dressing, and Nylon
- MAC Pigment in Violet
- MAC Powder Blush in Tenderling
- MAC Lipsticks in Lavender Whip and Hug Me
- MAC Technakohl in Graphblack
Supplemental: - A brow-filling product - Mascara
Eyes...
[* Highlight the inner corner of the eye with Nylon (242).
[* Highlight the brow bone with Vex (242).
[* Apply Electra to the inner third of the eyelid (242).
[* Apply Silver Ring to the middle third (242).
[* Place a bit of Satellite Dreams directly beside Silver Ring (242).
[* Apply Nocturnelle to the outer third of the eyelid (217).
[* Darken the end of the eyelid with Sketch and then layer over with Smut (217).
[* Pat a bit of Violet pigment on the border where Electra and Silver Ring meet (228).
[* Line the inner corner of the lower lash line with Electra (214).
[* Line the middle of the lower lash line with a mixture of Nocturnelle and Plum Dressing (214).
[* Line the outer portion of the lower lash line with Sketch (214).
[* Line both lash lines with Graphblack.
Cheeks...
[* Be a bit heavy handed with Tenderling on the apples only and blend outward to diffuse (116)
Lips
[* Pat Lavender Whip onto lips straight from the tube. Apply Hug Me generously on top.
