Tropical Appeal

I was at the MAC store the other day in search for some new blue eyeshadows. I bought Surreal, but I was intrigued by he brightness of Bitter. Trying it on my hand next to Surreal made me want to do this look!




Brushes you'll need:

- MAC #'s 217 (blending brush), 214 (short shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 266 (small angle brush), and 116 (blush brush)


Products you'll need:


- MAC Eyeshadows in Gorgeous Gold, Goldmine, Surreal, Bitter, and Steamy
- MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
- MAC Cremeblush in Lillicent
- MAC Lipsticks in See Sheer
- MAC Tinted Lipglass in Pink Lemonade

- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrak

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...

Apply MAC Paintpot in Painterly all over eyelids as a base using your fingers.
[*
Highlight the brow bone and tear duct with a mixture of Gorgeous Gold and Goldmine (242).
[*
Pack Bitter onto the inner third of the eyelid (242).
[*
Blend Surreal on the outer 2/3 of the lid, dragging into the crease and toward the inner corner of the eye (222).
[* Darken the outer V with Steamy (217).
[* Line the inner 2/3 of the lower lash line with Goldmine and the outer third with Steamy (214).
[* Line
the upper lash line with Blacktrak (266).


Cheeks...


[*
Pat Lillicent gently onto the apples of the cheeks, blending outward with your index finger.

Lips

[*
Apply See Sheer and Pink Lemonade layered over it.

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown], [Tame unruly brows using MAC Brow Finisher in Clear], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
