Royal Lilac



I haven't done a lilac/purple look, so I thought I'd give it a try using mostly purples with a hint of blue. Hope you like it!



Brushes you'll need:


- MAC #'s 217 (blending brush), 214 (short shader brush), 222 (tapered blending brush), 242 (shader brush), 266 (small angle brush), and 116 (blush brush)


Products you'll need:


- MAC Eyeshadows in Moon's Reflection, Hush, Parfait Amour, Stars 'N Rockets, Satellite Dreams, & Sketch
- MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
- MAC Powder Blushes in Flirt 'N Tease & Shimmersweet
- MAC Lipstick in Creme d'Nude
- MAC Lustreglass in Little VI

- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrak

Supplemental:
- A brow-filling product - Mascara

Eyes...

Apply MAC Paintpot in Painterly all over eyelids as a base using your fingers.
[*
Highlight the brow bone and tear duct with Hush (242).
[*
Pack Stars 'N Rockets onto the inner third of the eyelid (242).
[*
Place Moon's Reflection on the outer 2/3 of the lid (222).
[* Swipe the crease with Parfait Amour & blend (217).
[* Darken the outer V with Satellite Dreams (217).

[* Darken the very outer corner of the eye with Sketch (217).
[* Line the inner third of the lower lash line with Stars 'N Rockets, the middle with Satellite Dreams, and the outer third with Sketch (214).

[* Line
the upper lash line with Blacktrak (266).


Cheeks...


[*
Apply Flirt 'N Tease to the apples of the cheeks and lighten with the sparkly shade of Shimmersweet on top.

Lips

[*
Nude out lips with Creme d'Nude and add a soft lilac shimmer with Little VI.

Additional finishing steps: [Fill in eyebrows using MAC's #208 Angled Brow brush and MAC Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown], [Tame unruly brows using MAC Brow Finisher in Clear], and [Darken lashes using MAC's Plushlash mascara in Plushblack].
