Hands Down: Best Eyeliners

I, personally, am a fan of gel eyeliners. Sure, it takes practice, but so does lining your eye with a pencil. My weapon of choice for either liner: MAC's 266 Small Angle Brush ($19.50 -- you'll only need one, so it's well worth the money).

[* MAC Fluidline
3 g/0.1 oz. $15.00 - 7 shades to choose from

- extremely creamy, so it's easy to apply
- not exactly smudge-proof and a primer is definitely required for it to stay put

[* Make Up For Ever Aqua Creamliner
0.14 oz. $20.00 - 6 shades to choose from

- highly pigmented and waterproof
- tends to dry out, so you have to work quickly

Gel can be applied with a thin brush = more precise lines and control than a blunt/sharp pencil, liquid eyeliner tends to be very watery and takes a while to dry plus you don't have the option of how much product to put on the brush that has been sitting in the tube.
